June 2006 Meeting

To the Council and Friends of the Council:

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Interreligious Council is Monday, June 12 from 6:15 to 7:45 at the Bahá’í Center.

We will continue with our series on “How We Differ” by discussing Chapter 7, “ Suffering and Evil,” from Understanding Religion in a Global Society. Alejandro will lead the discussion and Peggy will give a very brief presentation of the Buddha’s teaching on the subject.

If you do not have the book, you may find the website for the book helpful and interesting. Go to http://www.wadsworth.com and click on chapter 7 where you will find illustrations and questions pertaining to the subject.

Please bring your own thoughts on this subject to share.
